about the artist

Hoa Nguyen has been a self-taught portrait artist for over ten years. A graduate of anthropology, Hoa is in constant pursuit of capturing the essence of humanity through her art as well as understanding the stories that make us who we are. Hoa recently moved to the Denver area from Houston, Texas and Milwaukee, Wisconsin before that, hoping to find and build up a new community through the power of arts and crafts.
